Hardness refers to the ability of a material to resist local deformation,especially plastic deformation,indentation or scratching,and is one of the important performance indicators of metallic materials.Generally the higher the hardness,the better the wear resistance.It is a measure of the softness and hardness of the material,according to the different test methods,the hardness is divided into three types.Let's learn about them separately:
Scratch hardness:
