Precautions for the Leeb hardness tester

The true Leeb hardness tester is in line with national and international standards and is interchangeable. Although the relevant Chinese departments have established the national standard for the Leeb hardness tester, some manufacturers' hardness tester technical strength is not up to the standard of the standard Leeb hardness tester, so the modified method is used to produce the Leeb hardness tester. It is called the Leeb hardness tester, but it is far from the real Leeb hardness tester. If the original hardness tester is not correct, it can also meet the exact requirements of the test hardness test block. Therefore, the user should choose the good hardness tester. 1 Impact device is interchangeable. A host of the Leeb hardness tester can be equipped with seven different types of impact devices at the same time; several impact devices of the same type can be configured on a single host.

The 3 Leeb hardness tester does not have adjustability. The Leeb hardness tester does not have adjustability after leaving the factory. If the measured value is not accurate due to the wear of the ball head, it should be solved by replacing the ball head.
4 Leeb hardness tester measurement error meets the standard requirements in the full range of hardness. The measurement error of the Leeb hardness tester ranges from low to high throughout the hardness range to meet the error requirements specified by the standard.

How does the hardness tester check the accuracy of the system?

It is very important to use hardness blocks frequently to test the performance of the durometer. There are 1 or 2 hardware blocks in the accessory box as standard equipment for the hardness tester. You can also purchase a hardness block close to the hardness value of your test piece from our sales department. Please contact the nearest agent of the company for details.
The steps for checking with the test block are as follows:
1. Select a hardness block that is close to the hardness value of the test piece.
2. Place the hardness block on the test bench.
3. Press an indentation on the hardness block and measure it to see if the test value you obtained is within the tolerance of the hardness block calibration. See Appendix A - Hardness Test Indirect Test for details.
4. If it is within the allowable error range, then the hardness tester is working properly and you can perform your test work.
5. If the test results differ greatly from the hardness block, check to see if your test setup and test methods are consistent with common methods and specifications.
6. If this still does not solve the problem, then continue to test a series of hardness values ​​on the hardness block to see how the distribution of the test results is: whether the distribution is very wide, or only concentrated in a small range. Inside? If the test results are very scattered, the biggest possibility is that the test method is wrong, or you are reading the wrong reading. Read the “measurement diagonal” in Chapter 5 again. If the test results are only concentrated in a small range, but there is a roughly equal deviation from the value of the hardness block, it is difficult to say what is wrong. In this case, please contact your nearest agent of the company to check the repair.

How does the Vickers hardness tester replace the light source?

1. Turn off the power switch. Unplug the power cord.
2. Pull the light source wire out of the socket, hold the light source seat with one hand, and rotate the light source seat back cover with one hand to remove the lamp cover with the LED (the light source seat cannot be rotated when the rear cover is screwed out).
3. After replacing the LED, re-rotate the back cover into the lamp holder and insert the lamp source into the seat.
4. Plug in the power socket, turn on the power switch, press the <←> key on the keyboard to adjust the light source to the brightest.
5. Observe the micro eyepiece and adjust the two light source center adjustment screws on the light source base to make the field of view light in the eyepiece bright and uniform.

How does the Vickers hardness tester replace the fuse?

1. Turn off the power switch. Unplug the power cord.
2. The fuse is installed in the power socket of the hardness tester. It is located between the switch and the power socket. When replacing it, use a small slotted screwdriver to gently insert it into the fuse cover, pry the fuse box out and remove the fuse inside.
3. Remove the fuse and see if the filament inside is broken. If you can't decide if the fuse is broken, use an ohmmeter to check if the filament is good.
4. If the fuse is damaged, install a new fuse (one spare fuse in the fuse box).
5. Push the fuse box back into place.
